Position Summary:

The PET Shrink Tubing Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of PET shrink tubing. This role involves overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and safety in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery used in the production of PET shrink tubing, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal production conditions.

Conduct regular inspections of finished products, verifying compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and identify opportunities for improvements.

Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to address any issues related to product quality and process efficiency.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including material usage and inventory levels.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during the manufacturing process.

Train new employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in manufacturing, specifically in shrink tubing or extrusion processes, is highly desirable.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements related to medical device manufacturing.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with production management software.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

May involve standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.
